About Claire...

Claire is the founder of Quansah Consulting (www.quansahconsulting.com), where she helps creative businesses and agencies improve their operations and processes across client services, people development and marketing. 

With nearly two decades’ experience working in PR and communications for global agencies like Golin and Havas, her client portfolio includes a wealth of big-name brands, as well as leading operations and business development teams. 

A Ghanaian-Manc, Claire is passionate about improving diversity across the PR and comms industry, supporting the work of organisations like BME PR pros and mentoring comms professionals from ethnic minority backgrounds. 

Talent development and retention are kind of important when it comes to keeping our industry growing, but the specific role of line managers can sometimes be overlooked.

In this session Claire will look at the skills comms people can bring into effective line management, the things they need to learn and why some people just aren’t born to line manage.
