Zander is an experienced public sector communicator with a background in public relations and journalism. He worked for South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue’s award-winning comms team for 14 years and has also been Chair of FirePRO (network for fire service comms people) and Vice Chair of LGcomms.

From a complete TikTok novice two years ago to running the most followed fire service account in the world, TikTok- whilst not everyone’s cup of tea- has completely changed my team’s approach to social media and given me some of the best moments of my professional career. As more brands consider joining the platform, I want to share my experience and learning with others.
