Carrie-Ann Wade

Carrie-Ann is an established communications director who has worked in healthcare communications for 16 years and is the founder of Cat’s Pajamas Communications Ltd. She is also co-founder of the AWEsome Women’s Retreat and co-collaborator on Take the Lead.

She is passionate about leadership, collaboration and supporting others to develop. She runs the Cat’s Pajamas Collaborative, a membership network supporting those in the creative industry to thrive through identifying opportunities to collaborate. And she mentors communications professionals as part of their professional and personal development journeys.

Carrie-Ann is also focused on improving communications around mental health. She actively promotes the strategic value of communications in healthcare, particularly in the NHS. She spent four years as the elected chair of the NHS Providers national network of NHS communicators and is currently vice chair of the PRCA (Public Relations and Communications Association) Public Sector Group.

Carrie-Ann was named by F:entrepreneur as one of the #ialso100 2020, and was recognised at the House of Lords as one of 100 female entrepreneurs and business leaders. Cat’s Pajamas has been recognised as one of the #SmallBiz100 2020.
