Stephen Waddington

Stephen Waddington is the Founder and Managing Partner of Wadds Inc. a professional advisory firm to agencies and communication teams. He is the founder of Socially Mobile, an executive education platform that helps practitioners from diverse and underserved backgrounds realise their earning potential.

He is a Visiting Professor at the University of Newcastle where he supports students with teaching and mentoring. He is PhD research student at Leeds Business School focused on the benefit of public relations to management planning and decision making. Stephen had edited and written eight books on public relations including Exploring PR and Management Communication (Pearson, 2021).

During his career he has founded and worked for agencies including Ketchum, Rainier PR, and Speed. He is a former President of the CIPR, and Fellow of both the CIPR and PRCA.
