Sofia Cann

Sofia is an experienced communications professional with 17 years experience in marketing, PR and communications.

Sofia loves working with people and brands to help find and tell their stories. She is passionate about coaching and mentoring individuals and businesses providing them with the knowledge and tools to build their own brand and tell their own stories. Helping others and seeing results is what drives Sofia. Sofia also programmes and produces events for venues and festivals across the country.

​Sofia has worked as part of the communications teams at the National Media Museum (Bradford), York Theatre Royal (York) and West Yorkshire Playhouse (Leeds) and is currently the Head of Marketing & Communications for Square Chapel Arts Centre (Halifax), The Old Courts in Wigan and The Royal Court Theatre in Wigan, as well as a freelance Publicist, and Consultant. Clients include: Comedian Arthur Smith, Actors Reece Dinsdale, Ian Puleston-Davies, Eva Pope, Karen Henthorn, Natalie Gavin, Kris Hitchen, John McArdle and Darren Jeffries, DJ Graeme Park and 6 Music broadcaster Chris Hawkins.

Sofia is a huge champion of policing and has a degree in Criminology and a Masters in Forensic Investigation from the University of Teesside.
