Chuck Gose

I am a self-proclaimed Skyline Chili connoisseur and Duran Duran fan with nearly 20 years of experience in marketing, corporate communications, and internal communications. My unrivaled passion and enthusiasm for the communications profession began early in my career at General Motors and Rolls-Royce, where I became fascinated by the positive impact internal communications can have on a company’s success.

I am the founder of ICology, a resource dedicated to interesting people doing interesting things in the world of internal communications. As part of this valuable work, I host the ICology podcast, which features practitioners and experts sharing their advice and insights. A fresh new episode airs every week and is available wherever you listen to podcasts. ICology is all about starting the conversation about how communicators can do more. Can be more. And usually are more than they realize.

At SocialChorus, I am a Strategic Advisor and work directly with communication teams on creating and launching a mobile strategy. SocialChorus is a leading workforce communications platform that modernizes how workers and organizations connect every day. With SocialChorus, organizations are able to connect and align their teams, power organizational initiatives and measure the business outcomes. In my role, I work directly with our clients on their channel and content strategies to maximize their mobile strategy.

Not one to shy away from the stage, I speak regularly at communication and marketing events, including IABC World Conference, PRSA Connect, EuroComm, Corporate Communication Expo, Digital Signage Expo and ALI Conferences events. My presentations focus on expanding the role of internal communications and delivering new ways to challenge the profession.

I am a long-time volunteer for PRSA and IABC and currently serves on PRSA’s Employee Comms Section Board and will be chair in 2019. I have also served on the PRSA Hoosier Chapter Board and am a past IABC Gold Quill judge and Program Advisory Committee member.

I am the co-creator of the Periodic Table of Internal Communications and the co-author of “The Very Hungry Communicator.” I live in Indianapolis but stay true to my Buckeye roots. I attended Butler University and am a diehard Butler basketball fan. I also got to fly in a blimp once.
