Ruth is the founder of Social Insight a behaviour change marketing consultancy that offers two things. One – a deep dive into your audience so you can increase impact, conversion and achieve change and two – Behaviour Change Marketing Bootcamp training. Launched earlier this year over 100 communicators from NHS, Fires Service, Public Health England and Local Government have been through this intense but invigorating one-day training.

 

Ruth’s experience in marketing and communications stretches almost 20 years across NHS, Local Government, Central Government and Not-for-Profit. Campaigns include national flagship campaigns such as Change4Life, Every Mind Matters, NHS Cancer Campaign. With over a decade’s experience in public health marketing, Ruth spent 2020 supporting the COVID-19 Public Health England marketing response. She has won the HSJ Award for Social Marketing, Antibiotic Guardian Award for Community Engagement and CIPR Award for insight into A&E attendance.

 

Her focus is to apply behavioural science for positive change and believes marketing can be used as a force for good. Her mission is to share how easy it is for in-house communicators to use behavioural science to uplevel their communications.

Mark Webb

Mark Webb

Mark Webb is a disability advocate and public speaker, as well as Head of Communications for Shift.ms, a social network for people diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. He plays Wheelchair Rugby for Bournemouth Lions.

Mark’s international career, notably with Disney, David Lloyd Leisure and Dixons, has taken him through all flavours of PR and Comms roles. It was during his time with Dixons Retail, now Dixons Carphone, that he was diagnosed with MS, a chronic, progressive illness impacting the central nervous system.
