Edna Boampong

Edna Boampong is the Director of Communications and Engagement at Liverpool City Council. 

A multi-award-winning communications and marketing leader, Edna brings extensive experience in designing and delivering nationally recognised programmes that drive behaviour change and reduce health inequalities, particularly among marginalised communities. 

Edna chairs a national taskforce, established by the NHS Confederation and NHS Providers, focused on increasing diversity within the public sector communications profession, addressing long-standing concerns about representation in communication roles.
